Eligibility criteria:

General surgeons who are performing basic laparoscopic surgeries like diagnostic laparoscopy, lap appendicectomy, lap cholecystectomy and adhesiolysis for at least one year OR have performed over 50 basic laparoscopic procedures.

Objectives– At the end of the course trainees would have
a) Gained knowledge about various surgical techniques of laparoscopic hernia repair
b) Understood the technique of extraperitoneal access
c) Oriented to extraperitoneal anatomy
d) Comprehend the safety aspect od laparoscopic hernia repairs
e) Be well versed about tackling complications that could occur during lap hernia surgery
f) Assimilated the indications and contraindications for the different procedures.
