Welcome to Excalibur, the Lapo Endo surgical training that is being organised by BEST TODS. We have been conducting several training courses in the field of laparoscopic surgery, and this has been designed to suit all different surgical professionals. We are now in the era of minimal invasive sturgery.Gone are the days when open surgery was the norms for performing all operations, and now performing minimal invasive surgery would require expertise in various skill sets that we have not been utilising in open surgery. And there is a steep learning curve to master laparoscopic surgery. Not every institute or a medical college has enough infrastructure and bandwidth to train their residents in laparoscopic surgery as yet. And that is the reason our institute has been trying to rope in to fill in the gaps where surgical residents will benefit out of this type of training in minimal university surgery. The most common that we have been doing has been the certificate course in laparoscopic surgery.This is a 10 day course which is quite intensive,lasting for 10 to 12 hours every day, and in this course we train surgeons, gynaecologists, urologists, onco surgeons and the like. What we do is conduct training programmes that have didactic sessions, video sessions, live surgical training demonstrations, hands on training that involves several surgical tasks that you will be allowed to master and we concentrate on teaching safe laparoscopic surgery.
We also have several other courses starting from laparoscopic suturing and knotting course,laparoscopic hernia training course,laparoscopic bariatric surgery course.
And all these are designed for specific needs to specific surgical population who would like to learn a particular technique or a surgical procedure

As you go through this 120 hour rigorous training, you will find yourself armed with immense knowledge about laparoscopy through live surgical demonstrations, video demonstrations and didactic sessions covering all aspects of laparoscopy. Also, you will develop immense laparoscopic skills learning dissection, precision, suturing and knotting through task based, endotraining exercises. Also you will develop immense laparoscopic skills of tissue handling, dissection. Time will fly and you will not even know that you have completed this wonderful and memorable laparoscopic training programme.
